The Future Is Bright For Our Partners
At PW, we have a high value for collaboration. As such, we celebrate with two of our local community institutions in the United States Region on their exciting leadership transitions! Urban Impact in Seattle, Washington and Sunshine Enterprises in Chicago, Illinois both work closely with under-resourced or economically-excluded entrepreneurs in their respective cities.
Recently, Urban Impact’s former Chief Operations Officer, B.J. Stewart, transitioned into an Executive Director role at Sunshine Enterprises! While at Urban Impact, B.J. led their economic development work supporting under-resourced entrepreneurs and small businesses. Under B.J.’s leadership, Urban Impact’s entrepreneurship programs served more than 100 small businesses owned by people of color in 2021 alone. B.J. has over twenty years of executive leadership and business administration experience. He earned his MBA from the University of Colorado, and a B.A. in Accounting from Michigan State University [bio via Sunshine Enterprises.] We celebrate B.J. in this new role!
We also celebrate Traci Herrall, who is taking over for B.J. at Urban Impact! Traci is a consultant, author, producer and radio show host, a diversity and inclusion change agent, and a trainer [bio via itsallbiggerthanme.com.] We are excited to see the continued growth at Urban Impact under her leadership as well!
The future is bright for both of these partners, and we are thrilled to have them in our network as we support the valuable and necessary work that they are doing in Seattle and Chicago.
