2024 Annual Report
Our global network of partners believes that redemptive businesses are a force for transformation—and that business is the way to end poverty.
Through business, we can create jobs and economic opportunities—lifting families out of poverty, transforming communities, and creating hope for the future.
Our Mission: We mobilize long-term, hands-on global relationships to form a powerful Christian network that uses business as the way to create flourishing economic environments in all parts of the world.
Our Vision: We aspire to end poverty so that all may have life and have it abundantly.
Our Model: Partnerships that fuel lasting change.
We partner with locally led organizations to support business growth and job creation through a unique 3-way model.
Local Community Institution
This is our term for our local partners. They are independent, locally owned and led organizations working to end poverty through business in their communities.
Business Affiliate (BA)
These passionate volunteers collaborate with Local Community Institutions to develop plans, share expertise, and provide financial support and spiritual encouragement.
Partners Worldwide (PW)
Our global team is the catalyst for our network. We identify new Local Community Institutions, orient and equip Business Affiliates, facilitate existing and emerging partnerships, and grow our network.
Highlights from Around the World
The Americas
A new milk collection center launched in Guamote, Ecuador after years of partnership between business volunteers, local partners, and PW. Through the facility, indigenous small-holder dairy farmers can sell their milk to larger buyers at prices 20% higher than before, earning sustainable income for their families. This is the power of redemptive business to transform lives!
Africa
In Ghana, we collaborated to link different stages of a vegetable value chain. One partner provided loans to farmers for supplies, while another financed traders to buy directly from the farmers. This boosted farmers' incomes from $1,400/year to $6,200 per harvest and increased market prices, showing the impact of focusing on business ecosystems to help entrepreneurs flourish.
Asia
This year we renewed our partnership with LiSSo in the Philippines, which supports over 600 farmers. Together, we’re launching micro-business training for farmers and sharing best practices for small-scale farming. The first 30 farmers are ready for training, with a goal to reach 120-150 in the first year. This community has potential for growth, and we’re excited to see the impact!
How Lorena Serves as a Passionate Coach in Her Community
When the pandemic hit, Lorena and her husband Danny pivoted to selling cleaning supplies from their bodega in Santa Rosa, Ecuador. Then tragedy struck and Danny passed away.
Facing the challenges of losing her husband and running a business alone, Lorena found support through El Oro Partners, a local partner of Partners Worldwide. With training and a network of encouraging relationships, Lorena doubled the size of her business.
Now Lorena serves as a business coach with El Oro Partners, passionately helping other entrepreneurs to thrive.
