From His Farm to Your Cup
This coffee farmer can keep his family’s legacy going, thanks to you.
These volunteers reflect on God’s work in their global partnerships.
From the Americas to Africa to Asia, our network of partners is blessed by Business Affiliates (BAs) who serve in their own communities and around the world. We asked these impassioned volunteers where they see God at work in their global partnerships. Here’s what they had to say:
“I see God at work using a resource He created—coffee—to lift up and strengthen people. When people dig deep into the resources God has given them and freely share them with others, people thrive, and His name is elevated. In the Elevar partnership, the LCI, BAs, and PW facilitators are all digging deep to lift and strengthen each other. All of us share our passion, hope, creativity, compassion, and much more with each other as we seek to elevate each other within the ultimate goal of lifting up the name of Jesus.”
Lisa Buffinga, Honduras
“In our partnership with AMG Guatemala, I’ve been so thankful to witness how the Lord has drawn this team together through training, coaching, and mentorships, pursuing the goal of developing redemptive businesses. I’m encouraged to see how the Lord has blessed each person on the team with vision and enthusiasm, and to see them working together to promote equality and prosperity for their community in His name.”
John Blaauwendraat, Guatemala
“Partnering in Christian business has been a game changer in the community. By creating local jobs, businesses uplift the community. Families have less pressure to choose between school, food, or health care. And God is glorified when people work and fulfill their image-bearing talents.”
Ralph deVries, Kenya
“God is utilizing the Body of Christ through partnering with Partners Worldwide, reinvigorating our potential, empowering the weak, and changing the mindset of the people we serve, all at a greater scale than we could ever imagine.”
Paulus Chandra, Indonesia
“God has been at work in our partnership, providing farmers a path toward freedom from debt. As they pool resources to transport and cool their milk, we pray they come to know the ultimate freedom found in Christ, who offers eternal hope.”
Lucas Wilgenburg, South Asia
