Digital Leap
The Digital Leap initiative offers matching grants for projects designed to escalate business models through digital tools and technology.
Why focus on technology?
Today, more people in the world have access to mobile phones than to electricity or clean water. While advancements in technology have brought about transformative changes, a significant portion of the 250,000+ entrepreneurs we serve remain on the sidelines, grappling with limited access to markets and capital, lack of internet access, inadequate digital training, and limited connectivity.
Partners Worldwide works with a network of local partner organizations serving entrepreneurs to close these gaps in technology access so entrepreneurs can succeed in an increasingly digital marketplace.

How it Works
Matching Grants
The Digital Leap initiative offers matching grants for projects designed to address these gaps and escalate business models through digital tools and technology. Local partnering organizations, business volunteers, and Partners Worldwide staff can submit project proposals to the Digital Leap Advisory Team, a volunteer group of highly skilled professionals in the tech industry.
The initiative focuses on supporting projects in the following four areas:
- Internet access & connectivity
- Education & skill development
- Promotion of e-commerce
- Increasing connection & knowledge in our network through webinars
